Itoko is a contemporary Japanese restaurant in Chicago from Chef Gene Kato. Inspired by traditional Japanese tea houses, the design combines warm wood detailing, layered textures, and soft lighting to create a calm and intimate dining experience. Subtle references to the sea are woven throughout the material palette, establishing a refined atmosphere that feels both timeless and welcoming.
